• Epilepsy Scholarship – OBCL Epilepsy Scholarship Awards for graduating students living with epilepsy and entering their first year of post-secondary education. $1,000 will be awarded to successful applicants. Deadline May 1 2014. • Fleming College Academic Excellence Entrance Scholarship & Bursary Program. • Garfield Weston Merit Scholarship for Colleges • Hatch Entrance Scholarship from the Faculty of Engineering, McMaster University CANADIAN BURSARIES, SCHOLARSHIPS, LOANS AND AWARDS • Howard Wilson Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to 2 students in the Kitchener-Waterloo area who are entering a post secondary institution in September and where the student or their parent/guardian have multiple sclerosis (MS). 


• James Bartleman Aboriginal Youth Creative Writing Award – each year 6 Aboriginal students will receive a certificate and a cash award of $2,500 for their creative writing talents. • James Summers Memorial Carrier Scholarship, Waterloo Region Record - $1,500 each to one male and one female applicant who have been a record carrier, among other requirements. Apprenticeship scholarships and employer signing bonus information is also available. • Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan • Orenta Ellis University Scholarship Program for students of African or Caribbean descent in the amount of $20,000 ($5,000 annually for 4 years.) CANADIAN BURSARIES, SCHOLARSHIPS, LOANS AND AWARDS • Scholarships Canada – a very comprehensive site of all kinds of Canadian Scholarships and Bursaries • Scholarships at Education Credit Union for graduates of WRDSB from the Education Credit Union, consisting of Dennis Daub Scholarship, OCUF CU Succeed Youth Bursary, UWSA Scholarship and Bursary Program and WLUSA Scholarship and Bursary Program. 


• Schulich Leader Scholarships are open to all graduating high school or Cégep students across Canada who have an interest in pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) at one of our partner universities. In order to become a Schulich Leader and receive the scholarship, a student must first be selected by their high school or Cégep as a Schulich Leader Nominee. High schools (outside of Quebec)* may select one Nominee each, while Cégeps may select two. • Sports & Scholarships $500 awards. Must be a graduating year student at a secondary school and live in the municipality of South Bruce, Kitchener-Waterloo or the Townships of Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich; display academic commitment and participation in extra-curricular activities during high school; attending a recognized post-secondary institution the following year and exhibit community volunteerism.
